A trailer of fireworks caught fire on the evening of January 25, providing a spectacular show for those driving down the Princes Highway.

Ocean Grove man, Sam Hanson, was driving home from Melbourne when he spotted the trailer exploding and launching fireworks, the night before Australia Day. “They were trying to stamp out the grass fires it was starting,” Hanson said.

Victoria Police told Storyful police attended the scene to direct traffic, but did not treat the blaze as suspicious.
