A water monitor lizard laid down in the middle of a road, oblivious to ongoing traffic in Singapore on Friday, February 3.

This Facebook live video shows the reptile on the Upper Serangoon Road, which is located near nature areas.

Animal Concerns Research and Education Society Deputy Chief Executive Kalai Vanan told <a href="http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/water-monitor-lizard-spotted-on-upper-serangoon-road-during-peak/3491234.html" target="_blank">Channel NewsAsia</a> that group staff deployed to the scene could not find the lizard, native to south and southeast Asia.
