Australian woman Liz Carter captured this footage in Taiji, Japan. The video appears to show divers capturing a young bottlenose dolphin, separating it from its mother. The dolphin struggles to escape from its captors, as it is guided into a net.

Liz can be heard expressing her shock at the action; she is audibly distressed. Liz told Storyful that the captors in the video had driven a large pod of dolphins into shallow waters. She said that bottlenose dolphins are primarily caught in order to be sold on to marine parks.

I wish those sons of bitches would leave the dolphins alone. That's a terrible thing to do, taking a baby away from its Mother. We're going to bring this to the attention of our President Trump, maybe he can help us get a message to them.
