Whenever we think of alligators, we think the worst. They take parts in our craziest nightmares, with their toothy jaws and beady eyes that can make even Superman run for the hills. It appeared as if it was just a normal day in Florida. The alligator state is used to these crawlies popping up from out of nowhere at any point in time, so the appearance of this beasts in parks and streets is no big deal. However, the plot thickened when the time came to take this guy back to the water.

An alligator was spotted outside a furniture store in Holiday, Florida on March 29 and returned to the nearby water through a local furniture store by an officer from the local Sheriff’s office. Workers at American Freight furniture store noticed a 4 to 5 feet long alligator in the store’s parking lot and called the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. The video shows the alligator being moved through the store by an officer who responded to the call. The gator was moved to a lake behind the store.

American Freight employee, Peter Soto, stated “it was a wonderful day at American Freight” and all gators are welcome! It definitely wasn’t the best or the most common customer, that’s for sure, but it received a few good bargains along the way. The officers had a lot of fun escorting it out of the back door and the shoppers never even saw it coming.
