Two passenger planes were diverted mid-flight to Adelaide and Sydney due to severe weather conditions at around Melbourne on April 8.

A flight from <a href="https://flightaware.com/live/flight/QTR904/history/20170407/1750Z/OTHH/YMML" target="_blank">Doha, Qatar</a> and <a href="https://flightaware.com/live/flight/SIA207/history/20170407/2345Z/WSSS/YMML" target="_blank">Singapore</a> were redirected to neighbouring states due to wild weather <a href="https://newswire.storyful.com/storylines/*/stories/163393" target="_blank">that rolled in on Saturday</a> and is expected to continue until Monday. The storm is expected to drop a month’s worth of rainfall over Melbourne and Gippsland over two days.

This video, taken on April 8, shows planes which were kept in holding patterns landing in Melbourne Airport.
