Here's something you don't see everyday! A goat with one large eye in the middle of its forehead was born in a village in Assam, India, on May 10. Growing up, you probably heard stories about cyclops, but who would have known that a goat version would appear somewhere along the way?

This little guy has defied the odds of nature and is a living mythical creature, living on the same planet that the stories of one eyed monsters originated from. This mysterious creature suffers from a rare birth defect known as cyclopia.

Cyclopia is a severe form of a disorder called holoprosencephaly, which emerges during fetal development when the brain doesn't divide into two distinct hemispheres. A fetus with cyclopia fails to develop two eye cavities, instead forming a single central eye cavity that can contain one oversize eye or two partially fused eyeballs.

Miraculously, a baby goat was born with a single huge eye, one ear and no nose leaving villagers in a village in northeastern Indian state of Assam baffled. However, this 'kid' has defied villagers’ somber prediction and is growing fast. Some villagers believe the goat is sacred and have begun to worship it after it was born.

Goat’s owner, Mukhuri Das talks about the miraculous birth of this goal-like creature and says that people have been coming to see this baby goat from all over the world, making him famous. Mukhuri believes that it is his responsibility to take care of this one-eyed baby goat.

Mukhuri also believes that the birth of this kid will bring luck to his home because it is some kind of a blessing. Usually animals with the condition die within hours after being born, but this goat has defied expectations.

What is it with India? Every deformed animal and person video I see is from India. Are they sitting on the pit to Hell, or what?
