Will Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato FINALLY reunite? We just got news that Selena Gomez will be hosting WE Day California, an uplifting concert event dedicated to acknowledging social changes in young people. Selena is hosting and Demi is performing so this could TOTALLY happen. Now here’s a brief history of WHY this reunion would be so important. As you know, Demi and Selena go waaaaay back. They both got their star in show business when they were just kids on Barney! Then the both landed on the Disney channel - they even stared in a movie together! These girls are practically inseparable and the epitome of BFF goals in the early part of their career. But something happened a long the way and the friendship basically fell apart. We stopped seeing them together, and while both of them insisted there was no falling out or feud, we really didn’t see them together much after that. Rumor has it that when Taylor Swift and Selena became friends in 2009, that rubbed Demi the wrong way. Plus Selena was dating Justin Bieber at the time, and Demi was dealing with a lot of personal drama including rehab so the friendship fell off. Even more recently, Demi was asked about Selena in an interview with complex magazine in 2015. All she had to say about their relationship when they asked if they still talked was NOPE. So yea, the one inseparable bond has definitely faded. Come to think of it, when WAS the last time Demi and Selena were spotted together? Guys, it’s been 6 years!!! They last met up at the MTV video music awards in 2011. They were so smiley and looked like old friends, right? So, now that we know both singers will be attending the same event, are we going to get the reunion we’ve always wanted? After 6 years? I certainly hope so! It’s always nice to catch up with old friends, right? or do you think they won’t be able to put their drama behind them? let me know your thoughts in the comment section down below.
