Archer (season 8) over view is here fans, Archer Dreamland is the eighth season of the animated television series Archer that is scheduled to begin airing on April 5, 2017, consisting of eight episodes. This season is also the first to air on FXX since the series was moved from FX.

What to know more? FX renewed Archer for three more seasons with each season consisting of a total of eight episodes. On January 12, 2017, it was announced that the series will relocate to FX's sister channel FXX, beginning with Season 8 onwards.

This season resolves the cliffhanger from last season which was revealed that Archer has been in a coma for three months, but finds himself trapped in a 1940s noir-esque setting called Dreamland.

What to know further? It took eight seasons, but Archer has finally become the film noir it’s always wanted to be (alias: Archer: Dreamland).
