Demolition of 56-Year-Old Mall Leaves Behind Spooky Remnants
Drone footage captured the remnants of the Crestwood Mall in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 4. The mall closed its doors in July 2013, citing declining revenues and vacant storefronts as the reasons for its disintegration. The eighteen-month process of demolishing the 1.1 million-square-foot building began in 2016. The mall was in business for 56 years.
