In 2001 when she was just nine-years-old, Andrea Grant was involved in a deadly explosion that covered 85 percent of the little girl’s body in third degree burns.

Now 24-years-old, the Jacksonville, Florida, resident is beating the odds that were heavily stacked against her.

Cautioned by her doctors that she wouldn’t be able to carry a baby to full-term, Andrea is here to say she is not only a survivor – but she is thriving.

Not only is she already the proud parent of Jada, but baby number two, Marcus, is on the way!

Absolutely overjoyed, the motivational speaker decided to have a photo shoot done to celebrate her amazing news.

Andrea’s brother Kendall, who was also injured in the gas explosion, helps her manage the foundation she created called Beyond Scars.

After her pregnancy photos went viral, she received an overwhelming amount of support from both burn victims and people in the community touched by her survival story.

The motivational speaker said one of her favorite encouraging phrases that she teaches people about self-love is: “Look in the mirror, find that one thing you love about yourself and build confidence around it.”

We couldn’t agree more! What a true inspiration to all!
