MARIJUANA AS MEDICINE? / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: I've been watching your videos for a while now and really enjoy them. I have a serious question for you. I'm 36 years old. In my teens I was a drug addict. From the age of 12 I started smoking weed, doing acid, meth - everything I could get my hands on. I got out of that lifestyle at around 19 years old, but I continued to smoke marijuana and still do to this day. It seems to be the only thing that calms my anger and my anxiety. I am trying to get closer to God and to grow in my faith. I don't know if I'm feeling conviction about still smoking. I don't even know if it's a sin. But I was wondering what your advice would be. In my mind, the fact that I'm even questioning it means that I have conviction in my heart. I'm honestly scared to take medication for my mental health issues. It's the only thing that seems to help. I feel on the fence for sure.
