Emma Watson too much of a DIVA to work with? No! Can’t be! Well, that was the rumor flying around about the beauty and the beast actress when word got around that she passed on La La Land. Luckily, emma clarified the speculation. Honestly, who REALLY thought emma was diva? Well, here’s the deal. You may have heard about a little known film called la la land, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma stone. Emma went on to win almost every award, including the coveted Oscar for her role as a struggling actress. Turns out, director Damian Chazelle didn’t have the red headed beauty in mind at first. Emma Watson was his first choice and rumor has it, she was cut from the movie because she was too much of a diva to work with. Not true, says emma. In reality, emma had just signed on for another HUGE roll. That other little movie called beauty and the beast. Talking to Sirius XM’s Town Hall last week, Emma explained she was just too busy to be a part of La La Land because of beauty and the beast. It’s one of these frustrating things where names get attached to projects very early on as a way to kind of build anticipation or excitiemtn for something that’s coming before anything is really actually agreed or set in stone, she said. The actress went on to explain beauty and the beast was extremely demanding. It wasn’t a movie I could just sort of step into. I knew I had horse training, I knew I had dancing, I knew I had three months of singing ahead of me and I knew I had to be in London to really do that. So you know, scheduling conflict wise, it just didn’t work out. Adding to that, La La land wasn’t exactly an easy film either. That role too had signing and dancing. Emma was just too busy. But here’s what I want to know. I’m a massive fan of beauty and the beast, but I doubt this film will be winning any oscars… You think Emma regrets not doing the more Oscar worthy role? It could have been her up on that stage holding the academy award rather than emma stone…. Just saying. Let me know what YOU think down in the comment section below an

I don't think she regrets it, she has said several times that she has dreamed of playing Belle since she was a little girl. And while I think she would Love the award, she doesn't seem like the type to covet an award.
