There’s been plenty of drama in Fifth Harmony since their member, Camila Cabello dropped out of the group last year. And you know what, Normani Kordei isn’t going to sugar coat that fact. She’s admitting it. And she managed to do it without the slightest bit of shade. Classy! Normani, who’s doing double duty now as a member of Fifth Harmony AND a contestant on DWTS, is getting REAL in rolling out magazine. She admitted the group goes through a lot together. We have seen each other at our highest points and our lowest points, she told the magazine. But Normai points out that we will soon too see all of it in their new music. You will definitely get a new sense of who we are, and that is stepping into womanhood. Even though she’s excited about the group’s new music, she understands why Camila decided to leave the group to grow as a solo artist, because she feels it too. “We auditioned for X factor as solo artists, meaning we had the mentality of pursuing a career individually,” she said. “I just feel like I haven’t been able to showcase my full potential. This isn’t all I have to offer, so don’t judge based on this little piece of what you’re given. I have so much in me that people don’t even know and I can’t wait to offer it to them.” Ok, we have to stop. It KINDA seems like Normani is hinting that she TOO wants to leave Fifth Harmony. I mean, Ally Brooke recently just said the same thing - she wants to grow as a solo artist - she’s reportedly even playing her first solo concert this summer! So what’s going on?? Well, I think we’ve established that at SOME POINT Fifth Harmony will be no more, but Normani has assured her fans that day is not close. She told the magazine the group was her “number one priority.” “I think that it’s just about balance, keeping myself centered, and being happy and healthy.” She also added that when we DO finally get to see all Normani has to offer, her sound is going to be R&B, which honestly I can’t wait for! But what do you think? Can the Fifth Harmony girls really balance the group and their solo careers or will they eventually have to split? You let me know in the comment section below.
