Super Bowl drama this year did not just stop at the field. Lady Gaga's halftime performance led to a lot of praise, but also a lot of backlash. There were the tummy comments, the controversy surrounding her prerecorded rooftop entrance, the Beyonce no-show. But regardless of all the comments, Gaga hasn’t responded. That is, till now. But before we get to her response, you should know about her weight struggles in the past. Gaga has lost the nearly 30 pounds she gained in 2014. The Born This Way singer has worked hard at- she’s been seen at SoulCycle, doing Yoga, and she also credits a portion-controlled diet. Gaga apparently began shedding the pounds for her upcoming wedding to then-finance, Taylor Kinney. But as you all know, they broke up. Keeping all that in mind- here she was, performing at the Super Bowl, her childhood dream, after months of preparation, nearly 30 pounds down, and she looked great in my opinion. But all anyone can talk about is that teeny-tiny flab of skin on top of her shorts. Naturally, Gaga ’s little monsters came to her defense saying, “Seeing Lady Gaga perform with a little fat on her belly was the most inspirational things of 2017.” Throughout all of this, there had been no work from Gaga. Finally, the superstar has responded on her Instagram. Here’s what she says: “I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too, no matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions. Thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys." So tell us what you all think- was Gaga’s Super Bowl outfit flattering or not? Would you have worn it?
