his 4-year-old is taking his first steps and they were made possibly by a stranger with a generous heart.

Luis Tamarez has cerebral palsy and uses a Cwheelchair most of the time, then one day a substitute teacher for his class happened to be riding in a cab with a stranger.

She told him she wanted to start a fundraiser for Luis to get him an Upsee mobility device, to help him walk.

When the stranger heard the cost of the device was $500, he offered to give her the money she needed.

When the device finally arrived, Burke and Browne were invited to Luis's classroom to see the young boy take his first steps with the help of his aide, .

Now Luis loves walking, his mother says he is more confident and is happy when he gets to practice taking steps.

Thanks to a kind donor who was at the right place at the right time to help this child on his journey.
