Rumble - A photographer has captured a stunning timelapse of Sydney during the hottest night in a January since weather records began.

On January 13, exactly one month after the record in <a href="http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-14/sydney-weather-heat-december-record-bondi-beach-penrith/8118496" target="_blank">December was broken in 2016</a>, Sydney-siders experienced <a href="http://www.smh.com.au/environment/weather/sydney-weather-relief-in-sight-after-city-suffers-through-hot-night-20170113-gtrdis.html" target="_blank">sweltering heat</a> with the lowest point at 26.4 degrees and the highest at 32.5 degrees in the City <span class="caps">CBD</span>. Even around 2am, the mercury reached over 30 degrees.
