Anti-Bannon Protest Goes Ahead at Harvard After Trump Strategist Cancels Appearance

Activists marched in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on November 30 in protests against a planned appearance by Steve Bannon on the campus at Harvard.

Bannon <a href="https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2016/11/29/harvard-kennedy-school-defends-decision-invite-steve-bannon-campus-event/J0r3mhafuNIgNQbsNlGVNO/story.html" target="_blank">had cancelled</a> his appearance at a Harvard Institute of Politics conference the day before, but protesters gathered at John F Kennedy Park nonetheless to protest against “Trump advisers and white supremacy,” according to a Facebook <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/1809436349295440/" target="_blank">event page</a> for the demonstration.

Demonstrators, including <a href="https://twitter.com/JVPBoston/status/804117368586780680" target="_blank">Jewish peace activists</a>, marched carrying anti-fascist banners.
