This giant wolfdog had no concept of his size or impact as he rolled around like a much smaller animal. He even jumped up onto his owner’s lap and asked to be petted.

      Such mixed feelings: (1) wolves are so damn beautiful. Dogs may be awesome companions, but from an pure aesthetic standpoint, wolves are just way more gorgeous creatures, (2) isn't it risky to have true wild animals as pets? Domestication breeds out the natural killer reflexes. By recent studies this takes at least seven generations, and tends to simultaneously breed out many of the physical traits of the wild animal. The wolf-dogs I'm aware of are 99% wolf, and 1% domestic dog breed. That sounds like a ticking time bomb. And the love the express a "family" member human should never be confused with taming out those wild predator instincts.
