Pakistani Cricketers Injured in Deadly Karachi Hotel Fire

At least 11 people were killed and 30 others injured, including Pakistani cricket players, as a fire tore through a Karachi hotel in the early hours of Monday, December 5.

International cricketer Sohaib Maqsood was at the hotel with fellow Pakistani players when the fire broke out. Numerous <a href="https://www.geo.tv/latest/122609-Fire-breaks-out-in-a-private-hotel-near-Shahrah-e-Faisal-in-Karachi" target="_blank">reports</a> said <span class="caps">UBL</span> bowler Yasin Murtaza jumped out of the second floor window and fractured his leg.

Three doctors were reportedly also among the dead.

Sohaib told Storyful, “Plenty of injuries. Three of our players got injured, even one broke his leg.”
