A Pakistan International Airlines flight crashed in Pakistan’s Abbottabad district while en route from Chitral to Islamabad on December 7.

According to <a href="http://www.dawn.com/news/1301042/pia-flight-pk-661-crashes-enroute-to-islamabad" target="_blank">local reports</a>, at least 42 people on board the aircraft, including Junaid Jamshed, a <a href="http://in.reuters.com/article/pakistan-airplane-junaidjamshed-idINKBN13W1LT?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Social" target="_blank">Pakistani pop star and Muslim cleric</a>.

At the time of writing, the army said more than 20 bodies had been recovered, and there were not expected to be any survivors.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
