Multiple explosions rocked Mezzeh airbase in west Damascus on December 7, according to the <a href="" target="_blank">Syrian Ministry of Defense</a>.

<a href="" target="_blank">Syria’s state broadcaster</a>, citing a military source, reported the claim that the “surface-to-surface missile” strikes were carried out by Israel at 3:00 am. No casualties were reported, it added.

Fire broke out in Mezzeh airport after the explosions and vehicle sirens were heard in the area, <a href="" target="_blank">pro-opposition sources said</a>.

Israel has reportedly hit Syrian army positions and Hezbollah conveys a number of times since the war began, killing many prominent Hezbollah figures and destroying arms depots, according to <a href="" target="_blank">al-Masdar news</a>.

These videos were shared by a Syrian community group and are captioned “12 rockets hit Mezzeh airport.” The videos show massive explosions.
