Pakistan Plane Crash Victims' Remains Transferred to Islamabad

The remains of a number of the victims of the December 7 Pakistan International Airlines crash were transferred to Islamabad on December 8. The flight went down in Pakistan’s Abbottabad district while en route from Chitral to Islamabad.

The remains were transferred to the capital for <a href="http://www.dawn.com/news/1301219/remains-of-23-pk-661-crash-victims-sent-to-pims-for-dna-testing" target="_blank"><span class="caps">DNA</span> testing</a> intended to help in identifying them.

According to Pakistan’s <a href="https://twitter.com/AirportPakistan/status/806515282063675393" target="_blank">airport authority</a>, all 47 passengers and crew aboard the aircraft at the time were killed.
