The video was taken on Thursday, December 8.

Earlier forecasts from the National Weather Service, <a href="http://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com/news/local-news/2016/12/lake-effect-snow-warnings-issued-for-western-central-ny/" target="_blank">reported December 7 by the Adirondack Daily Enterprise</a>, predicted parts of western and central New York would receive up to three feet of snow. Those totals were downgraded on December 8, <a href="http://www.syracuse.com/weather/index.ssf/2016/12/lake_effect_snow_totals_downgraded_but_some_parts_of_cny_could_still_get_a_foot.html" target="_blank">according to Syracuse.com</a>.

The videos included show the timelapse of the storm rolling in off Lake Ontario, followed by nearly white-out conditions on the <span class="caps">SUNY</span> Oswego campus.
