Ambulances Race to Istanbul Stadium Following Explosion

First responders rushed to the Besiktas Vodafone Arena in central Istanbul late on Saturday, December 10, following a suspected car bomb. At least 70 people were injured in the explosion, reported Turkey’s state-run <a href="http://www.ntv.com.tr/turkiye/son-dakika-istanbul-besiktasta-vodafone-arena-yakininda-iki-bombali-saldiri%2chsgWcdz2R0C0X564FE8aKg" target="_blank">Anadolu Agency</a>.

The blast occurred after the conclusion of a football match between two of Turkey’s top teams, Bersiktas and Bursaspor. Bursaspor said none of its fans were <a href="https://twitter.com/BursasporSk/status/807678178277867520" target="_blank">injured</a>. Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said the attack may have targeted a riot police bus outside the venue.
