The Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers played in the snow during an NFL game in Buffalo on Sunday, December 11. A snowstorm swept through the area causing problems after halftime when the grounds crew struggled to clear the artificial turf.

Sunday’s snow is part of a system working through the Midwest and the Ohio Valley. The storm is expected to push into the Northeast by Sunday night and into the morning. The first wave of snow in the Buffalo area dropped about three inches of snow, according to reports. The second wave, which was during the game, was expected to drop another three to four inches of snow.
