Police are seeking information after a man allegedly pulled a woman to the ground by her hair early on Sunday, November 20, at a nightclub in Canberra.

A <a href="https://www.policenews.act.gov.au/news/media-releases/witnesses-sought-nightclub-assault-0" target="_blank">statement</a> issued by the Australian Federal Police said the woman was standing at the bar when a man approached her.

<span class="caps">CCTV</span> footage released by police shows the man approach the woman standing at the bar, and then later pulling her “aggressively” by the hair as she walks away.

The man remains wanted by the police and is described in <a href="http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-14/woman-pulled-to-ground-by-her-hair-at-cube-nightclub/8120368" target="_blank">this <span class="caps">ABC</span> report</a> as Caucasian in appearance, 183 centimetres tall, with dark brown hair and a light beard.

Acting Station Sergeant Craig Faram, Officer in charge of City Station, <a href="http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/police-seek-gutless-offender-in-cube-nightclub-assault-20161214-gtaztc.html" target="_blank">told the Sydney Morning Herald</a> the woman was shaken but uninjured after the attack.

“This particular act is what I would describe as very gutless,” Faram said.
