Rami Zien, who describes himself as a Syrian journalist and activist based in besieged Aleppo, shared video on December 14 showing the degree of destruction in the area around the al-Quds Hospital in southern Aleppo.

The hospital was bombed and significantly damaged in April 2016 airstrikes, and Zien explains that he is trying to show “an example….of the scale of destruction” inside the city.

Following numerous reports of ceasefire violations inside Aleppo, carried out by both regime forces and rebels, Ahrar al-Sham issued a statement on Telegram claiming that the ceasefire will come into full effect on Thursday, December 15, in conjunction with the first round of evacuation convoys leaving besieged Aleppo.
