A police officer who reunited with a snake after eight years was quick to remember why she and the reptile had never stayed in touch.

On December 15, Senior Constable Brenda Lee <a href="http://mypolice.qld.gov.au/goldcoast/2016/12/15/maori-officer-v-snake/" target="_blank">visited</a> the Jacob Well Environmental Education Centre (<span class="caps">EEC</span>) for a routine holiday preparation check when she saw Aggro, the carpet python. The snake lives at the centre and helps the staff teach visitors about the biology of reptiles. During the check, the senior constable agreed to being reacquainted with Aggro.

She was quick to regret her decision.
