Besieged Aleppo Survivors Give Testimony Following Attack on Evacuation Convoy

Rumble Following a reported <a href="*/stories/151893?collection=aleppo-offensive" target="_blank">attack on an evacuation convoy</a> out of besieged Aleppo on December 16, activists remaining inside the city recorded the testimonies of two men aboard the convoy, including one member of the Aleppo White Helmets.

Both men refer to Iranian and Hezbollah militiamen stopping a number of buses, occasionally pulling people off of convoys and questioning them at length, with some being temporarily detained, and five people being summarily executed.

Additional activist reports from <a href="" target="_blank">inside besieged Aleppo</a> corroborate the claims; however, Storyful could not independently verify the the executions.

<a href="" target="_blank">The <span class="caps">ICRC</span></a> announced a temporary halt in evacuations due to ceasefire violations on December 16. It remains unclear when the evacuations will resume.
