Large Crowd Gathers to Board Buses Out of Rebel-Held Aleppo

Convoys continued to take people out of rebel-held areas in Aleppo on the morning of December 19 with <a href="http://www.syriahr.com/en/?p=57294" target="_blank">reports</a> of about 1,000 people making the journey.

People were congregating near the al-Ramousa checkpoint in the south of Aleppo city as they awaited transportation. Media activists and journalists reported on the <a href="https://newswire.storyful.com/storylines/*/stories/152053" target="_blank">freezing temperatures</a> endured overnight by displaced residents waiting for their opportunity to board buses.

This video shows conditions during daylight hours, as a large crowd gathered to board buses out of the city. <span class="caps">ICRC</span> workers can be seen managing the crowd.
