Local Firefighters Clear Wreckage in Aftermath of Tultepec Explosion

Local firefighters worked to clear wreckage amidst piles of debris and clouds of smoke that were kicked up after an enormous explosion in a fireworks market in Tultepec, Mexico, on December 20.

This content, posted by the firefighting brigade of neighboring city Cuautitlan Izcalli, shows crews at work in the smokey ruins of the explosion site.

The National Coordinator of Civil Protection <a href="https://twitter.com/LUISFELIPE_P/status/811336288808869888" target="_blank">reported</a> that at least 60 people were injured as of 4:30 pm local time. The <a href="https://twitter.com/CruzRoja_MX/status/811337808270852096" target="_blank">Mexican Red Cross</a> said they deployed ten ambulances and fifty paramedics to the scene.
