YouTube star Adam Saleh tweeted a video on Wednesday, December 21, alleging that he and a friend, Slim Albaher, another popular YouTube star, were removed from a Delta Airlines flight for speaking Arabic.

Saleh and Albaher told Storyful that passengers around them said they were “uncomfortable” when the pair spoke Arabic, and that the Delta crew made the decision to remove them from the plane. A number of passengers can be seen waving at Saleh during the video. Saleh and Albaher said other passengers were upset by the incident, and showed their support.

Delta Airlines later released a statement which said the pair “sought to disrupt the cabin with provocative behavior,” and were removed for that reason.
