One of my most cherished albums, Old Man presents a life's testament of various experiences with the Father in heaven (Yah). Excellent modern electronica that really holds its own.

My father used to have dreams of what he referred to as the Old Man. It led me to ponder instances when this person had experienced his presence, whether it was observing nature (No Words Can Express), enjoying a quiet moment (Quieting the Senses), grieving for a friend (Beyond the Grief), reaching a highlight in my life (Precipice), or even viewing the Pleiades (A World Between Us). Each piece speaks of a different connection within this special relationship.

This album, in comparison to eyeHear (which relies on the Arturia collection) heavily uses Omnisphere along with hints of Keyscape. An easier-to-digest sound which still holds mature themes. Has similar vibes of Vangelis, with some Jean Michel Jarre. Goes from classical electronic, to IDM, ambient, and more.

All music on this album is composed and played by Yahunatan (Jonathan Raimer). Keyboards and programming by Yahunatan. Composed in 2017.
