To honor the first day of winter, Yellowstone National Park posted this video of Old Faithful erupting on Wednesday, December 21. The temperature at the time was 0 degrees, according to the park.

Old Faithful sent a giant plume of steam into the air, much more than what visitors would see during the summer. The geyser, which is one of the park’s most popular attractions, can erupt every 60-110 minutes, according to the parks service.
