Cars Catch Fire After Crash Near Seattle

Two cars caught fire on State Route 520 near Seattle, Washington, after a three-car pileup on Monday, December 26. This video shows one of the vehicles completely engulfed on the highway.

The flames erupted just east of Montlake Boulevard near Foster Island in Seattle, <a href="http://komonews.com/news/local/car-fire-closes-both-lanes-of-traffic-on-520" target="_blank">reported <span class="caps">KOMO</span> News.</a> The fire was first <a href="https://twitter.com/wspd2pio/status/813529843526553600" target="_blank">reported via Twitter from a public information officer</a> at 3:40 pm.

Authorities have not released any more information about the crash and no information about injuries has been published.

The highway was closed while crews cleaned up the accident, and at the time of writing <a href="https://twitter.com/wspd2pio/status/813538083534610436" target="_blank">one lane was reopened.</a>
