An earthquake, <a href="http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/us10007naf#executive" target="_blank">recorded as magnitude 5.9</a> by the US Geological Survey, struck Japan on December 28, with its epicenter north-northeast of Daigo, in Ibaraki prefecture. Tremors were felt in Tokyo, as this footage shows.

Public broadcaster <span class="caps">NHK</span> said there was <a href="http://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/html/20161228/k10010823371000.html" target="_blank">no concern</a> over a tsunami in the aftermath of the earthquake.

The source of this video said he had installed the fish tank on the day of the earthquake and was testing it when the quake occurred.
