Pedestrians and Cars Struggle Through Melbourne Floodwaters

Melbourne experienced flash flooding on Decemeber 29 as the Bureau of Meteorology issued <a href="http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDV20032.html" target="_blank">severe weather warnings</a> across the state.

Following a night of intense heat and humidity, heavy rainfall has moved in from the north-east. Speaking with State Emergency Services, the <a href="http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-29/victoria-weather-melbourne-temperature-bom-warns-storms-flooding/8152032" target="_blank"><span class="caps">ABC</span> reported</a> some areas would be receiving up to 100 millimetres.
