Flash Floods Transform Suburban Melbourne Street Into Shallow River

A street in the outer suburbs of Melbourne was transformed into a shallow river after <a href="https://newswire.storyful.com/collections/melbournevic-floods-december_3307" target="_blank">heavy rainfall</a> caused flash flooding across Victoria on December 29.

Following a night of intense heat and humidity, heavy rainfall has moved in from the northeast. Speaking with State Emergency Services, the <a href="http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-29/victoria-weather-melbourne-temperature-bom-warns-storms-flooding/8152032" target="_blank"><span class="caps">ABC</span> reported</a> some areas would be receiving up to 100 mm of rain.
