Truckers were sounding their horns across Poland on December 30, as Polish driver Lukasz Urban was laid to rest under heavy security near Szczecin, in West Pomerania.

Urban, 37, was the first victim in the December 19 terror attack on a Christmas market in Berlin after his truck was hijacked by Anis Amri, a failed Tunisian asylum seeker. Amri killed 11 others and injured dozens when he rammed his truck into Christmas market stalls at Breitscheidplatz.

Urban’s funeral in his home village, Banie, was attended by Polish President Andrzej Duda.
