There's no denying the horse in this video is absolutely stunning. But if you look more closely, you'll see that this horse actually has a bit of an unusual appearance. He's super slim and has an abdomen which is tucked up like a racehorse at top fitness. His legs are slender and sculpted, his neck is thin and tapered, and his body is long, resembling a Thoroughbred a bit.
And then there's his coat. Have you ever seen such a gorgeous color on a horse? But this horse's coat seems to shine and shimmer in the sun; it's almost like he's made of gold. This amazing appearance is sure to turn heads.

This horse is an Akhal-Teke, a fairly rare horse breed which originated in Turkmenistan. This highly athletic horse excels in sports like racing, jumping, dressage, and more. Most Akhal-Tekes live in Turkmenistan and Russia, though some can be found in the United States and Europe. If you see one of these horses in person, you're very lucky.
One of the Akhal-Teke's most distinctive features is its golden coat; these horses are often referred to as "golden horses." The breed is often known for its Palomino, perlino, and cream coats. According to the Akhal-Teke Association of America, there are three base coat colors: Red, Bay, and Black. The variations within each coat color can be absolutely beautiful.
If you're looking for a stunning riding horse that is sure to turn heads, the Akhal-Teke may be the breed for you. These horses are highly intelligent and athletic, and they make excellent show horses. Finding an Akhal-Teke may take you some time, though, especially if you live in the United States. These horses are few and far between, and because they're so rare, they can demand high prices. If you'd like to learn more about the Akhal-Teke, consider contacting a breeding association for additional information.
