Young Hollywood is it’s cat claws guys, and this time it’s Keke palmer vs Kylie Jenner. The actress tries to make a point about society’s obsession with beauty, and throws Kylie under the bus in the process. There’s no denying that Kylie has gone under a bit of a transformation the last few years. We’ve ALL noticed it! But is that really a bad thing?. Keke Palmer absolutely thinks it’s terrible - and she let us know on Instagram. The 23-year-old actress went on the social site and shared a side-by-side image of a fresh-faced Kylie back in 2012, and her current, updated look in 2016. “Looking at this photo above I couldn’t help but stop dead in my tracks because even though I do feel like this family sets an example that it’s good to change for societies affection, how can you blame them,” she wrote. “A CHILD, that girl was a child and she was bullied and named ugly and not as a character, but as herself.” Keke went on to explain in her lengthy rant, that Kylie felt she had to change to please everyone else and be accepted into Hollywood. “We are confused,” she said. “So many of us on who we should be and how we should act, who we should like and how we should pursue them. If only we could accept one another instead of bullying eachh other into change.” So no word yet on if Kylie was moved by this speech, or downright upset. We get what Keke was trying to say, but using Kylie Jenner as an example? Not the best move in our opinion. But, it IS hard to deny Keke’s logic on this one. When 17-year-old Kylie first got her lip fillers last year, she flat out denied she had any work done. Then when she finally revealed the truth - the obvious truth we might add - she also revealed she felt pressured to change her appearance. “It’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do,” she said on KUWTK. “Everyone wants to pick us apart.” So we have to know your thoughts on this. We think Keke came from a good place pointing out society’s flaws, but did she really have to use Kylie Jenner in the process? Or do you just agree with her?
