Info From Licensor: "Joe Ridler is 36 years old and lives in Chicago, IL. Joe is a professional skydiver and wingsuit pilot. He has been in the amazing world of free-falling for 10 years. Joe's journey as a jumper began when he one day decided to skydive as a means to overcome his fear of heights… a fear that haunted him since childhood. As much as Joe was thrilled and amazed by skydiving, he decided that skydiving wasn’t enough to fill the void left by his fear, so he began BASE jumping."

Throughout his ten years as a jumper, Joe has refined his passion for free-falling by becoming a pro wingsuit pilot. When Joe isn’t working his 9-5 job, he is spending all of his free time at the dropzone improving his flight skills. Joe competes professionally in skydive-wingsuit competitions where athletes compete in races for distance and speed. Joe frequently podiums in these high profile races, and at one point held the district record for speed. Nowadays, Joe almost exclusively wingsuit-skydives, and it is very rare to see Joe jump without a wingsuit on.

In this particular video, Joe (along with his friends) is celebrating his 1,000th skydive… an unofficial, yet huge milestone in the skydiving community! For the first time in a long time, Joe sheds his wingsuit to take on the persona of the Mad Hatter. And, instead of making a traditional ‘free-fall to the ground’ jump, the Mad Hatter latches on to a fellow wingsuiter as they both exit the airplane. Joe straddles the wingsuiter like a horse, and as Joe gains his stability, he sits upright to enjoy the ride of his life as he celebrates 1,000 jumps out of ‘perfectly good airplane'. Not only is Joe falling at over 100mph to the ground, he is also flying forward through the air at 120mph through the air."
