Weird photos have existed ever since the creation of the first cameras. People in the past used to play with double exposure to create the illusion of ghosts, claiming they were mediums and extorting money from grieving families. But soon the scam became well known and almost nobody used it anymore. But these 10 photos are something completely different.

They are unedited, original photos, but each and every one of them is peculiar and shouldn't even exist. Let's take for example the mystery of the unexplained pteranodon photo. According to the story, the bird was shot down by army men during the American Civil War in 1864 near the city of Vicksburg. The story says that the publication referred to the creature as “some kind of unknown bird or monster." In an interesting twist, there is a second photograph on the Internet that displays the exact same scene, but is known to be faked.

The Cooper family photo, on the other hand, features a much more sinister apparition. The story goes that sometime in the 1950s a family in Texas bought an old house and moved into it. On their first night there, they took a photo posing with the two kids at the dining room table. Everyone was happy and smiling.

But when the photo was subsequently developed, they saw, to their horror, that what looked like a body falling or hanging from the ceiling had materialized behind them. It hadn't been there when the father took the photo. So where had it come from? Was it an apparition of a deceased former tenant of the house? No one knew. Check out the rest weird photos!
