We are conscious beings, however, most of us live a very "non-conscious life" even during the hours when we are awake; being awake, being active, or even being engaged doesn't necessarily mean we are conscious. Being conscious means we are always aware of the outcome we want out of every act, every situation, or our life i.e. we have an "Outcome- based Thinking".

If we can approach every conversation, situation, negotiation, presentation, Job, or life with the ultimate outcome in mind, it has an enormous value for us. Our Thoughts, Feelings, and Behavior. Actions will then be driven by the outcome we want instead of us acting in a non-conscious manner or simply reacting to the situation. Outcome-based thinking gives us the Power to choose, respond, and change.

This is demonstrated in one of the miracle accounts in scripture. The question "do you want to be made well" is unpacked in this conversation.
