Jean-Claude Van Damme does NOT do 'boring'

From being annoyed at the cameramen talking during his interview and getting asked the same old questions - the star eventually didn't want to be bored further.

The 'Muscles from Brussels' expressed exasperation during a Thursday (28 July 2016) morning interview with Australian morning show Sunrise after being quizzed about his ex, Kylie Minogue. Kylie and Jean-Claude enjoyed a brief romance while filming Streetfighter in 1994.

The 55 year old looked genuinely miffed and fed up at what he said were the same old questions being asked over and over again.

He said:

”Yeah, I like Kylie, I like everybody, can I please come to Australia and talk to you? Because, yes ... Sorry guys, I cannot do this anymore. You are talking to a guy who’s very rough, you know?

Let me talk. It’s good for the people, they can hear that. Let me talk, please.

Those questions, the press, they have been asking me the same questions for the last 25 years. ‘Kylie?’ ‘How’s your training?’ ‘How’s your this?’ ‘How’s your that?’ I’m coming to Australia to maybe do something kind of different with the audience.”

Van Damme continued talking until he got so fed up that he ripped off his mic and walked out of the interview.

In the process he was heard saying :

"What the fuck is going on with Australia? What the fuck is going on? I cannot do this, I’m too natural, you can blow this stuff away. What is this?"

On the Sunrise facebook page, Australians were in agreement with the martial arts superstar. and chided the media for bringing up his decades-old affair.

One commented :

“Good onya Van Damme, the media in this country are bloody boring and can’t come up with anything original.”

While another echoed his thoughts, saying

“Your questions are cheap, thoughtless, irrelevant and repetitive! He didn’t have a meltdown, he was bored with the stupidity.”

As for the fling with Kylie, he once told the UK Guardian newspaper :

"It would be abnormal not to have had an affair, she’s so beautiful and she was there in front of me every day with a beautiful smile, simpatico, so charming, she wasn’t acting like a big star."
