NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

Tonight we will cool down into the mid 50s with winds calming between 5 and 10 mph out of the west. Thursdays forecast calls for another warm day with highs back in the lower 80s. High pressure should hold off any showers or thunderstorms but later in the evening and overnight, a few storms may develop over the western of central part of the state. The chance of storms continues from Friday through Monday with highs rising up into the 90s for the weekend. It will be the warmest weekend since Memorial Day.
