What is a Shitcoin? 🪙💩

A Shitcoin's main selling point is the age old scam, "Why buy a fraction of that, when you can get a whole bunch of this?" But what is "this"? Will it be around in 10 years? Is it controlled by a CEO/Company/Foundation? Does it have a reason for being besides making its creator(s) money? More often than not, it's an Unregistered Security and a 'Pump & Dump scheme.
