Rumble / Do It YourselfLooking for way to divide up a large room or a studio apartment? You can easily make this room divider with inexpensive IKEA Billy bookcases! I did this to separate my home office from the rest of my living room but it's also a great way to create separate rooms in a studio apartment. The bookcases give me lots of storage for my office but it's hidden from the rest of the apartment and the shelves on top are perfect to visually separate the office without making it feel closed in. Since this room divider isn't permanent, it's also a great option for renters!

And you won't need to use fancy tools to do this project yourself - just a drill and a few other hand tools will do the job.

Who uses that desk? There isn't even room to pull out the desk chair. Sitting down will require that the user owns no ribs.
