Backing and Prepping Blue Crabs for the Freezer: A Slack Tide How To

Hello, Slack Tide Nation, and welcome to our first "Slack Tide How To" video. Do you ever feel like crabbing, but don't feel like going through all the hassle of a crab boil at that moment in time. Well on this episode of Slack Tide Adventures, we'll be examining the process of storing blue crabs for a few days so that they remain fresh and alive and how to back and prep your blue crabs for longterm storage in your freezer.

We do a lot of crabbing over the summer, since it's one of my son's favorite activities, and these are some tips that I use to make sure that we have delicious blue crab throughout the year.
