Brave boy courageously scares off black bear during hiking adventure

Bently was lying in a meadow when a black bear walked up on him last week. He stood up, drew his bear spray, and slowly backed up, waving his arms and making noise. This video clip (taken by his brother) shows him nearly back to the fam. The bear was just curious and was upwind. We then scared it off and chalked it up as a good experience on how to react when near an unexpected black bear. Atta boy Bently!
